<p>So in this episode we take time to look at just what the benefits are from drinking skinny water &#8212; if any &#8212; and the conclusion might be a surprise for many of you.
<p><strong>Do I need to count calories?</strong>
<p>Many people on a low carb diet the thought of counting calories fills them with horror. It is a law, and underwritten tenant that counting calories on a low carb diet is an absolute no-no. But is that the truth &#8212; are there certain circumstances in which we need to take note of how many calories were actually consuming. Once again our truthful answer may not be the one you&#8217;re expecting.
<p><strong>Can low carb remove the curse of diabetes ?</strong>
<p>The way that diabetes is currently treated as never seemed to be very satisfactory. Many people who start out with quite mild symptoms and &#8220;dietary controls&#8221; still seem to follow the same downward spiral as they get older.
<p>Could it be that existing ways of treating diabetes are actually failing people in their endeavours to be rid of the problem. And can a low carb diet really help?

In this episode I unlock why that is and outline  a few of these alternate uses &#8211; some of which may surprise you.</p>

<p>Vitamins and minerals are again a minefield. Some experts say you need them &#8211; some are adamant you don&#8217;t. If you do take them, which ones should you take? The answer is actually fairly straightforward as we&#8217;ll see in the program. Would you be surprised to learn that a few of the most eminent experts have changed sides and now agree with me or maybe they&#8217;ve just given into common sense.</p>
<p><strong>Healthy Clicks &#8211; Tasty treats in store at this rather good web resource</strong></p>
<p>Find something good to eat can often be a bit of a chore. I&#8217;ve been all over the web and to be frank there are many recipes labelled as low carb that are about as low carb as candy floss. Also many people try to adapt say dessert recipes by just substituting artificial sweeteners in place of the sugar &#8211; sometimes this works and the dish turns out fine. But why poison yourself? Anyway, in this item we visit one of the better web resources -an excellent website that allows you free access to many of it&#8217;s excellent tried and tested  recipes and you don&#8217;t even have to sign up.</p>

<p>Welcome to the first of a series of programs that deals with items of interest to low carbers and those following other diets as well.</p>

<p>In each program, I&#8217;ll be tackling real life issues which are relevant for people on any diet but obviously having a bias towards controlled carbohydrate diets. </p>
<p><strong>Exercise without going to the gym. </strong></p>
<p>Nowadays, people who are serious about getting in shape understand that they need to exercise as well as diet but for many &#8211; me included &#8211; going to the gym is just so boring and an intrusion on our time. Here I outline a number of alternatives that we can all use as a way of increasing our level of activity.</p>
<p><strong>Vegetarian Low carb</strong></p>
<p>If you consider that lowcarb has the reputation of meat, meat and more meat &#8211; with a lot of fat too, we might be forgiven for thinking that no vegetarian would want to do low carb. The thing is they do. we tackle that subject in our burning question item.</p>
<p>Finding good info on the web can be a minefield. How do you sort the good from the bad or just plain ugly?</p>
<p><strong>Jimmy Moore &#8211; Living la Vida Low carb</strong></p>
<p>In this program we have a look at one of the better ones as we take a peak at the story behind the man and Jimmy Moore&#8217;s Livin La Vida Lowcarb website in our healthy clicks feature.</p>
<p>This is the first of a series of videos dealing with questions on the many everyday things that dieters have problems with.</p>
